Another race (Canadian GP) another trip away

I’m having a hectic year, with so many trips coinciding with race weekends. This weekend I get to miss the Canadian GP (unless I can find somewhere in Vegas showing it!). Fernando has done an awesome job to qualify 4th – I have to find somewhere showing the race!

I will be attending Symantec Vision this week, I’m participating in 9 events promoting the Team’s work with Symantec and NetApp.

I then have a month at the factory before heading off to the South Africa Roadshow, where we’ll run the car in the streets of Johannesburg. It was a great event last year, my hope this year is that it will be bigger and better!

Computerworld Honors Program

The Team were nominated by Symantec in the Computerworld Honors Program (www.cwhonors.org) for our Data Centre and to highlight the work we do with them on IT Security and Availability. I went to Washington D.C. (fascinating city) to collect the Laureate on behalf of the Team. In addition we were a 21st Century Achievements Award finalist.
