The first running of the R29

Portugal should be warm and sunny but it was rather wet and cold this week as we tried to test the new R29 for the first time. 11/2 days out of 4 hasn’t told us as much as we would have liked.

The launch for the team’s partners is next week and I’m looking forward to sharing an evening in Paris, with the people who support us through thick and thin

The R29 is fired up

After the fantastic end to the 2008 season, we are now looking forward to 2009. Watching the new car being fired up for the first time prior to running in Portugal next week, is still a huge thrill. We are affected as much as everyone else by the “credit crunch” so staying competitive in an extremely difficult economic situation is going to be key to our season
